The Mason City Wastewater Division operates and maintains the water reclamation facility, two wastewater pumping stations, one storm water pumping station and 300 miles of sanitary sewer. The treatment facility treats on average 6.5 million gallons a waste water per day and disposes of 700 tons a biosolids annually to farm fields.
