MacNider Woods was a gift from the MacNider family in November of 1958 and is located along the north bank of Willow Creek to the west of Parker’s Woods, east of North Pierce Avenue and to south of Hoover School. The park contains 28.78 acres of wooded land and was donated with the intent to leave it as natural as possible. The park contains a lime chip surfaced multipurpose trail along Willow Creek which interconnects with the City trail system connecting to Parker’s Woods and continues to downtown.
