Memorial Bench and Tree Program

Memorial benches and trees have become an increasingly popular way to remember and pay tribute to loved ones.

Through the Memorial Bench and Tree Program, friends and relatives can provide a unique dedication by placing a bench or planting a tree in one of our beautiful parks. The gift of a memorial bench or tree is appropriate for many occasions including the memory of someone who has passed away, in honor of a dedicated service member, or to celebrate a graduation, wedding, birthday or other occasion. This dedication provides a lasting remembrance in honor of your loved one.

A bench or a tree serves as a valuable contribution to our parks system. Both youth and adults of all ages visit Mason City’s parks daily to enjoy the playgrounds, trails, sports or just to relax and unwind, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Whatever the reason, a bench or a tree is a generous gift and is greatly appreciated as a valuable contribution to our parks system.
