Education Government Channel

The City of Mason City currently programs and operates the Education Government Channel, which is broadcast on Mediacom Cable Television, Channel 117-2.

Mason City tax supported and non-profit government or educational institutions wishing to use the Education Government channel are encouraged to do so.  To learn more about the Guidelines, procedures and request form for Education Government Channel or to discuss programming ideas, call City Hall at 421-3601 or e-mail: [email protected].

Mason City City Council meetings are broadcast live as follows:

    The 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 7 p.m. 

Mason City City Council meetings are rebroadcast as follows:

    Sun., Mon., Thurs., Fri., Sat. at 1 a.m., 7 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m.   

    Tue. at 1 a.m., 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.

    Wed. at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
